Bands We Love was created to encourage more people to get out and
support live music. Most of the people involved in this project met through their love of music. These friendships span decades and wouldn’t exist if music hadn’t caused our worlds to collide. We’re not afraid to confess that a few of us were fans of MySpace Music; it was unparalleled for:

Big-Picture Goals.


When streaming music became our main source of music consumption, it really hurt smaller, independent musicians. Bands We Love wants to do whatever we can to help make it possible for musicians to keep making music! 

In the short-term, we do this by increasing ticket sales for live shows (and maybe offering the occasional reminder that buying a musician’s merchandise after the show really helps). 

In the long-term, we plan to form a 501(c)3 nonprofit that will allow us to create a fund to offer quarterly grants to working musicians that assist in bringing their projects to life. Watch this space to learn about the Bands We Love Frisson Fund—we can’t wait to share more.
